So what?
So often, we find ourselves not doing things we want to do because of our fear of judgement. This fear affects the seemingly small things AND the big things alike...but ALL of these things are equally important to living a FULL life.
small Things
going out into public
being silly in with your kids/family
smiling and greeting people just because it feels nice
posting on social media without revising several times or ruminating anxiously
BIG Things
joining or HOSTING a social group, even when you're afraid
going after your dream job, regardless of imposter syndrome
moving to another country because it's Your life and YOU CAN!
With each step you take toward a deeper connection with yourSelf, you will find you're more willing to do the uncomfortable things anyway.
BUT
There is no light switch - the Give-a-Damn fades at its own pace, your willingness to step forward is the ONLY thing that will get you there.
It's ok to be scared, and remember to have compassion for the challenges you WILL face.
But start practicing the phrase "So what?" because it will become one of the most used parts of your vocabulary.
